The geometry of a road bike handlebar influences handling, ergonomics, and rider position. Key features include:

1. Drop: Vertical difference between the upper and lower parts of the handlebar. A larger drop enhances aerodynamics, while a shorter drop increases comfort when using the lower handlebar.

2. Reach: Horizontal distance between the handlebar's center and the point where it meets the bike's stem. A shorter reach is suitable for riders with shorter arms.

3. Flare (applicable to certain handlebars): The lateral expansion of the handlebar ends for a wider grip area, improving control in an aerodynamic position.

4. Shape of the Top Bar: Varies from traditionally round to aerodynamically flattened to reduce air resistance.

5. Width: Influences stability and control. Wider handlebars provide more leverage but may not be suitable for every rider. Typically, handlebar width corresponds to shoulder width.

In general: A longer stem improves aerodynamics, while a shorter one promotes a more upright position and less aerodynamics. When choosing

the right frame size, the typical range for stem length is usually between 80-90-100 mm. In very compact frames (e.g., classic Cyclocross design)

or for very tall athletes (e.g., 190 cm), a longer stem (>110 mm) may be necessary. If, after finalizing the seat position,

you find that the stem is too short or too long, we can adjust it at no additional cost.

Gunsha saddle posts are proven and available in aluminum, titanium, and carbon. With a larger offset (<25 mm), they are well-suited for taller individuals or when purchasing for compact frames or frames with a very flat seat angle. Posts without offset are more suitable for smaller athletes or those without offset requirements. The WCT saddle post, despite its larger offset, is very versatile and adjustable, optimal for individuals with a height of 170 cm and above.

Tire Type

Depending on your choice of wheel, you must decide between basic tires (non TLR), TLR (compatible for tubeless and non-tubeless), and tubular (only for CX).

Tread Type

We offer three types:

a) Dry: A fast tire for dry and hard surfaces (partially suitable for good trails). b) Universal: Suitable for any surface. c) Mud: Less suitable for roads but provides the best traction and safety, especially on wet surfaces.

Tire Width, Quality, and Size

Generally, a tire rolls better the higher its quality. High-quality tires typically have soft casings and high TPI processing, improving traction. A wider tire width provides better cushioning and traction but also increases rolling resistance. For very hard surfaces and good roads, a tire width up to 33 mm is sufficient. An optimal middle ground is between 33-38 mm. Beyond 38 mm, tires offer more puncture resistance and higher damping values, especially suitable for heavy cyclists and for use on trails with many roots.

650B (27.5 inches) tires exclusively fit 650B rims and are particularly favored by smaller athletes (under 170 cm) or when very wide tires (for example, 45 mm) are desired, and the frame for 28 inches is not designed for a width exceeding 44 mm.
