Handcrafted tires combine a variety of outstanding features to provide maximum comfort and lowest rolling resistance. Carefully selected materials are used in different tire levels depending on usage performance requirements. Soft, supple carcasses quickly adapt to the shape of the surface when rolling and cornering. This increases ground contact and grip and improves shock absorption on poor roads. Soft, natural rubber profiles are combined with lightweight, flexible puncture protection.

Corespun cotton casings are manufactured for the Servizio Corse Series (Track, TT, Tri & Road) and Team Edition Series (Cross) tires. Cotton - like your favorite shirt - is naturally softer and smoother than a cheap polyester shirt and needs to be treated more carefully. Cotton, if not washed and dried properly, is more likely to absorb water, stains, mold and rot than more durable polyester or more expensive silk. That's why cotton benefits greatly from the carcass sealing challenge. It makes cotton the ideal carcass material for professional athletes as it offers an ideal ratio of price and performance.

Latex tube

Latex tubing is strong, lightweight and extremely flexible. They absorb shocks and significantly reduce rolling resistance by being able to adapt ideally to obstacles.

Handmade natural rubber - soft hardness

Challenge's handcrafted natural rubber treads are compounded to provide the perfect level of durability without compromising performance, comfort and control. Although Challenge tires wear 10 - 20% faster than the competition, they offer significantly improved performance and a noticeably better driving experience throughout their lifespan. Depending on the requirements, the tires are equipped with rubber compounds of different softness.

The soft hardness ensures maximum control, grip and performance.

Puncture Protection System (PPS)

The PPS (Puncture Protection System) puncture protection system consists of one or more layers of fabric between the tread and the tire carcass. PPS significantly increases the tire's resistance to punctures and therefore offers maximum reliability.
